Lifting and working platform test successfully passed

Operator ID for lifting and working platforms

When working with aerial work platforms, safety comes first. To ensure this and to prevent accidents, workers should be trained regularly.

On October 13th, a lifting and working platform training took place in our in-house training room. Hawis GmbH trained 14 of our fitters in theory and practice on the general operation and safety of the platforms.

The training included, among other things, the topics of the legal fundamentals, structure and function of a platform, accident prevention and the correct transport of the work platform.

At the end, everyone underwent an examination in order to finally receive the operator ID for lifting platforms / aerial work platforms.

Farewell to retirement

Möller says goodbye to Mr. Ingo Lickert

our sales representative Mr. Ingo Lickert is going into well-deserved retirement. After 26 years of activity, his professional career as a salesman and project planner in the agricultural climate department of our company ends in October this year.

Through his many years of successful work for Möller GmbH, Mr. Lickert has significantly influenced the positive development of our company.

In particular in Brandenburg, Saxony, Saxony-Anhalt and Thuringia, he has left deep marks in the many years of his activity - fulfilling these in the future will be our challenge, which we are happy to face.

Of course, we are at your disposal with our sales team under the direction of Mr. Philipp Rohmeier and our 24 hour service are still available. Our sales representative Mr. Christian Köllmer will take on the tasks in the areas mentioned.

We wish Mr. Lickert all the best, especially health for the new phase of life and the necessary time to implement what has been planned for retirement.

We are also convinced that Mr. Lickert will be interested in accompanying and observing the development of Möller GmbH even after his departure.

Expansion of the vehicle fleet

New flagship in the Möller fleet

On June 1st, 2017 the time had finally come. The new truck, type Actros 4, is now on the road for our customers on Germany's roads.

With the purchase at the beginning of the year, the development of the new layout for the tarpaulin began. We got energetic support from the company Litho who graphically presented our ideas with their creative minds. Last but not least, the work of the vehicle manufacturer Stürenberg, who set up the tractor unit and the trailer, and the Freye company, which created and applied the complete digital print, were no less important.

We would like to thank everyone involved for the smooth cooperation.

Open day in Eydelstedt-Düsten

The Rethwisch family opens the doors to the new sow barn

On May 6, 2017, the Rethwisch family in Eydelstedt opened their doors to friends, neighbors, farmers and interested visitors on the occasion of the inauguration of the new sow barn. From 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., visitors were able to visit the new stables, listen to specialist lectures or obtain information from the companies involved in the construction.

In 2016 the Rethwisch family started building the sow house and in spring 2017 the piglet rearing house. The new facility consists of a sow barn for 320 sows with a combined breeding and waiting barn, farrowing and gilts area and a separate piglet barn with 1575 places. The new plant was connected to the biogas plant and the existing fattening house.

The pig house, which was cleared for the open day, offered space for the companies involved in the construction and the specialist lectures on current topics for sow farmers by Christian Meyer from the teaching and testing center Futterkamp, Schleswig-Holstein and Sebastian Bönsch from the LWK Lower Saxony.

The approximately 700 visitors had the opportunity to take a look at the new stables and the exhaust air scrubber and to find out about the latest developments in agricultural technology.

After such a successful open house, we wish the Rethwisch family all the best and much success in the new stable.

QM system: re-certification according to the new standard

The international standard DIN EN ISO 9001 for quality management systems defines requirements that can help to increase the overall performance of a company and at the same time offer a good basis for sustainable development initiatives.

This year our company had a major re-certification audit over 3.5 days on the program. The reason for this is, on the one hand, the publication of a new version of the standard in September 2015. Within the three-year transition period, we had to convert our QM system to the new revision. On the other hand, we have decided to implement and audit the fire alarm area of MENKENS ELEKTROTECHNIK in our QM system.

The result of the audit is our current certificate, which confirms a functioning QM system according to the new standard.

With a certified quality management system in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9001, we enable you to transparently and objectively assess our performance - worldwide, because the ISO 9001 standard is a global quality standard. Through the structured organization of our workflows and defined processes, we demonstrably maintain our quality standard.
